Short Biography
Karl Stein wurde am 19. April 1922 geboren. Während des Krieges war er als Gefreiter bei der Marine. Zuletzt war er in Frankreich stationiert, wo er am 5. Mai 1942 fiel. Lediglich ein Feldpostbrief, der etwas knapp über einen Monat vor seinem Tod an Stein gesandt wurde, ist überliefert.Dementsprechend ist wenig über ihn bekannt.
Heute ruht Karl Stein auf dem Soldatenfriedhof in La Cambe. Die endgültige Grabstelle befindet sich in Block 34, Grab 145.
